Summer training on EU/International affairs

when 23 June 2014 - 27 June 2014
duration 1 week
fee EUR 250

Our annual trainings give students the opportunity to spend up to a week in Brussels or Strasbourg and to gain a more realistic view of working life by meeting professionals working in EU or international institutions (EU Commission, EU Council, EU Parliament, EESC, Council of Europe…), as well as non-for-profit organisations, lobby platforms, consultancies, think tanks or European political parties. It’s the perfect occasion to leave your textbooks behind and to get in touch with reality!

Students get to discuss what goes on behind the scenes with high-level officials, and also learn about each trainer’s personal experience and career path. Find out what it’s really like and how to get there! Get tips on how to get your ideas or projects across and get some direct insight from key players on current “hot topics”!

The annual trainings are also a great multicultural experience as students from different countries spend up to a week together and learn about each-other’s cultures.

The programme also allows for some free time for shopping and sightseeing. In the Brussels training an excursion to Bruges and a visit to the College of Europe is also on the programme.

And last but not least, once you have taken part in our trainings, you get to join our pan-European network of alumni! Get involved in their activities and enjoy benefits for alumni only!
