Gdańsk Summer School on Algorithms for Discrete Optimization and Deep Learning is organized by the Department of Algorithms and Systems Modeling of the ETI Faculty at the Gdańsk University of Technology. During 7 days of the school, 5 advanced mini-courses will be delivered by renowned researches from Poland and abroad. Each course will be followed by appropriate exercises. Supporting material for the courses will be provided by the lecturers. Besides the courses and excursions, a poster session is planned.

Course aim

The school aims at providing an opportunity for graduate and undergraduate students as well as young researchers to get together and attend advanced courses and talks on current topics in the field of algorithms and data structures for discrete optimization problems. Special attention will be devoted to mathematical programming and deep learning.

EUR 0: Early registration (deadline April 30, 2020)

The registration fee covers: 6 lunches, coffee breaks, course material, excursions, accommodation for 7 nights (starts Jul 05, 2020) in student dormitory (double rooms), etc.

Scholarships

A limited number of grants covering registration fee and traveling expenses are avaiable to PhD students who are under 40. Applications must be submitted by February 4, 2020.
