Innovation and Entrepreneurship
online courseParticipants will get introduced to current major themes in innovation and entrepreneurship, including human-centred design and innovation eco-systems - specifically the dynamic startup eco-system in Berlin. This practical course will guide participants to create new valued products, services or experiences, from idea generation trough to business concept development and testing.
This course is suitable for undergraduate and graduate students as well as professionals from any discipline who wish to develop an entrepreneurial and user-centered mindset in multidisciplinary teams.
Course Structure:
Reading week: January 4th - January 8th, 2021. Flexible, 5- 10 hours preparatory work to be done on-demand.
Online course: January 11th - January 29th, 2021. Estimated meeting times: Mondays through Fridays. Exact session times will be confirmed once registrations have closed (sessions will be scheduled according to the time zones of the registered course participants). Please note this is a full-time, intensive course. Weeks 1-3 will involve approximately 30 hours of workload.
Course leader
Klaus G. Kammermeier creates and conducts immersive and collaborative learning and innovation experiences. He is a sought- after trainer, mentor, and speaker on innovation, entrepreneurship and digital transformation for organizations, teams, and leaders.
Target group
This course is designed for current university students, working professionals and any individuals with an interest in furthering their knowledge and skills in organizational leadership and entrepreneurship.
Participants from all fields and disciplines are welcome.

The ability to systematically explore, create and modify business-driven ideas.
The ability to validate assumptions and test prototypes.
An understanding of the innovation and business creation eco-system.
The ability to transform new ideas into valuable solutions considering their impact.
Leadership, team building, and managerial creativity competencies to work in and lead interdisciplinary teams.
The ability to present a concept in a pitch format.
