Olomouc Winter School in Midwifery
The Olomouc Winter School in Midwifery 2021 is a specialized course held at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Palacký University in Olomouc. Over four days, the participants are involved in theoretical seminars, practical sessions, and workshops with focus on improving knowledge and skills of a midwife in the 21st century. The programme includes visits to the University Hospital in Olomouc and the training centre at the Faculty of Health Sciences. Emphasis is put on skills for both physiological and high-risk pregnancy. The programme is held in English and the workshops are led by international experts in midwifery, obstetrics, and nursing.
There is a two-step registration procedure. Due to the nature of the course, the applicants will be asked to provide a proof of having completed at least two semesters of undergraduate midwifery programme or equivalent.

Students of Midwifery who have completed at least two semesters of an undergraduate midwifery programme, or its equivalent, and who are interested in expanding their knowledge and practical competencies in the field.
A successful completion of the course is awarded with 3 credits in the ECTS system.
EUR 250: The participation fee covers tuition, learning materials, conference pack, and coffee breaks.
