Digital Tool For Humanists - an Introduction

The school intends to present some selected tools that can help humanist in their researches and activities, taking advantage of the digital turn and the new technologies.
Particular attention is given this year to useful tools for the cultural heritage.

From graduated students up to professionals in the Humanities (PhD students, librarians, teachers, researches, archivists, museologists, etc.)

Course aim

The School is addressing all those interested in getting basic and working knowledge of some of the digital tools available today to scholars in many different fields of the Humanities.

The topics in the edition of 2021 will include:

- Introduction to Digital Humanities
- Designing and managing a project in DH
- Digital collections and digital libraries
- Enhancing and enriching a Digital Archive
- Organizing virtual exhibitions
- Publishing catalogues for museums and exhibitions
