This 2 weeks intensive summer school focusses on the mitigation of Climate Change in a spirit of social justice.
The first week is devoted to 18 lectures, 12 round tables, 6 workshops, and 1 or 2 field trips. The second week focusses on imagining and structuring ambitious projects in the following domains : Renewable energy, buildings renovation, forestry, ecomobility, sustainable food, sustainable finance and education.

Course leader

The lectures will be given by top level belgian academics from various french speaking belgian universities.
The round tables and visits will allow dozens of professionals to explain their daily contributions to climate change mitigation.

Target group

Anyone above 18.
No specific academic requirements as the programme is accessible and transdisciplinary.
An entrepreneurial mindset is particularly welcome.

Course aim

Provide accurate knowledge about climate change, its effects and countermeasures.
Imagine and structure concrete and ambitious projects to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in a spirit of social justice.

Fee info

EUR 450: The fee covers the complete program : 2 weeks in residence, including lodging and meals.
Transportation to/from Liège, as well as meals on Sunday 7/11 are not included.
A 50 EUR deposit is requested upon registration, the rest at confirmation of application acceptance.

Scholarships

A few scholarships might be granted to participants who can demonstrate their financial inability to cover the nominal fee.
