Lviv Data Science Summer School is an educational initiative of the Faculty of Applied Sciences of the Ukrainian Catholic University. The Summer School participants – undergraduates, Ph.D. students, young professionals – study state-of-the-art methods and tools of Data Science, and Machine Learning. The school is oriented towards the intermediate level of participants’ knowledge.

The Summer School 2020 will take place on July 20 – July 31.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Lviv Data Science Summer School 2021 is transferred to an online format. We made some changes like more concentration on the courses and panel discussions with prominent professionals. The students are involved in several practice-oriented courses in the domains of Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Healthcare, Social Network Analysis, Urban Data Science, etc.
The participants can gain from 1 to 6 ECTS credits after the School completion. Some courses will include assignments, each of which allows to get 1 ECTS credit. Assignments are provided by teachers. Also, each assignment has a specific deadline.

students, Ph.D. and Mgr. of Computer Science, IT specialists with basics of Statistical Inference, Machine Learning, Python programming (also R programming will be good).

Credits info

Fee info

EUR 30: Participation in the Summer School is paid and cost 30 EUR.
EUR 100: Also, participants who choose to perform practical tasks must pay the additional fee. The fee depends on the number of courses.
1 additional course costs 100 EUR.
