The program comprises four mandatory courses… :

Introduction to Continental Legal Culture (8 hours)
European and International Contract Law (8 hours)
Settlement of International Disputes (8 hours)
Constitutional Law and Fundamental Freedoms (4 hours)
… and one optional course (choose one course among the following three):

International Familial Property Law (8 hours) or
Digital Law – Protection of Personal Data (8 hours) or
Introduction to OHADA law – only for the French-speaking stream (8 hours)

The courses are available in three different languages: French, English and Spanish

For the French-speaking stream, classes will be held from Monday to Friday from 18:00 to 20:00 (Paris time).

For the English-speaking and Spanish-speaking streams, classes will be held from Monday to Friday from 17:00 to 19:00 (Paris time).

Exceptional changes may occur.

Course leader

The richness of our Summer School lies in the quality of the education which comes from the prestigious and internationally renowned University of Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas as well as in the diversity of the legal cultures represented.

Target group

The Summer School targets people (students, legal pratitioners, etc.) who have already graduated from a three-year legal course.
A good level of language skills will be required in each of the courses offered: English, French or Spanish.

Course aim

Our ambition remains the same : to provide all participants with a body of knowledge on civil law, its evolution and its influence on legal and economic models around the world.
