Scapino Summer Creative Online Edition

In the summer of 2021 the second edition of the Scapino Summer Creative will take place online. During three days you can participate in an intensive program that contains ballet classes, repertoire workshops and masterclasses. The Scapino Summer Creative offers an inspiring program in which the company’s unique technique and repertoire are in the lead. As a dancer you will be challenged to develop your creative talents, to co-create and to show your identity. You will work with our international artistic team of choreographers, teachers and dancers. The Summer Creative is under supervision of artistic director Ed Wubbe.

During the online edition we host the workshops and classes through Zoom. You need a laptop or tablet and a personal Zoom account. The program will be adjusted for online. As a participant you need some space (at home or in a dance studio), it doesn’t have to be much. We take into account everyone’s personal circumstances.

During the summer of 2022 we hope to organize a live edition again. Nothing can beat live encounters and dancing together in a studio, of course. The Covid situation is still very uncertain. To keep all participants, teachers and choreographers safe and to limit traveling we choose to go online. But, we still want to give young dancers the opportunity to participate, gain experience and get to know Scapino as a company. We hope to see you all online this July!
