Communication is the most used skill in almost every job. Whatever your position in business, your performance will be judged largely on the basis of your communication ability. The ability to communicate effectively in today's business environment is essential across all industries and is required through a diverse number of communication channels. The goal of communication in business is to create a shared understanding of business situations that will enable people to work together successfully.

Course leader

Jagoda Poropat Darrer is a lecturer at the Department of Marketing and Communication and the Department of Foreign Languages at Zagreb School of Economics and Management.

Target group

Students with interest in business and communication.

Course aim

This course aims to define the role of communication in business, and familiarise students with trends that have a huge impact on communication practices and purposes. Also, students will learn how to choose the optimal communication channel, develop interpersonal skills, and master the art of delivering an effective presentation.

Fee info

EUR 1300: Tuition fee includes this course with all the materials and Blackboard access. It also includes Croatian studies course with various activities such as visits to museums, Parliament and company visit. Students will also have two field trips included during the weekends.
