The Classics of French Literature | No.1

when 1 July 2024 - 5 July 2024
language French
duration 1 week
fee EUR 425

This cycle of conferences offers a journey through the major works of French literature, to discover or rediscover emblematic texts, bases of a common culture. In particular, we discuss the works that made an impact during their creation and after. We thus examine what makes a classic, by considering the various ways in which literary productions play with aesthetic codes and fashion models - from the Renaissance to the contemporary period. Each conference considers a particular period of French literature.
