Integrated within the Winter School Lisbon 2018 project, this programme is designed to introduce the participants to the management of cross-cultural differences and leadership in the globalised world by being effective in communication and negotiation.

Target group

Any student at bachelor or master level.

Course aim

At the end of the programme, students should be able to:

- Understand key influences of culture in human behaviour and in the work place at home level and at international level;
- Enhance individual intercultural competence to efficiently interact (communicate and negotiate) with people from diverse cultural backgrounds;
- Develop critical thinking ability and negotiation skills through experiential classes in a multicultural environment.

Fee info

EUR 1150: Fee includes: tuition; course materials; team-building event; Portuguese History and Culture classes; Survival Portuguese Language classes; company visit; use of the library, PC labs and ISCTE-IUL facilities; public transportation card for one month in Lisbon; organisation of leisure activities; airport pick-up service; welcome and farewell dinner.
