Next Generation Carbon Fibres Processing
NEWSPEC 1st Summer School -1st European Course on Next Generation Carbon Fibres Processing – will provide well-documented scientific training to young researchers and professionals in the field of Carbon Fibre production using novel cost-effective and environmental-friendly techniques, with the aim to improve several stages of the traditional production line (from precursors to functionalization and characterization of the fibres).
The NEWSPEC consortium, under the Scientific Coordination of FORTH-ICE-HT – Institute of Chemical Engineering Sciences in the person of Prof. Costas Galiotis, will run the Summer School in Patra, Greece, from Monday 15th to Thursday 18th, June 2015.
Talks at the School will be tutorial with a poster session open to all participants. During the Course, acknowledged experts in the field will interact with young researchers and scientists (postgraduate and PhD students, postdoc researchers etc.), as well as with researchers and/or employees from the traditional CF-related industry.
