The DHC+ Summer School is a comprehensive course on District Heating and Cooling, combining lectures, practical application, site visits and networking activities.

Course leader

The DHC+ Technology Platform is the organiser of the Summer School.
The 3rd edition is hosted by Politecnico di Torino and Istituto Superiore Mario Boella - ISMB, and supported by local energy companies IREN and EGEA.

Target group

Undergraduate and post-graduate students as well as young professionals (with maximum 2 years experience in DHC)

Course aim

To provide a detailed overview of the whole DHC value chain and its interaction with Information and Communication Technologies in a truly international context and applying cutting edge tools. To work on Horizon 2020 project proposal and energy transformation strategies.

Credits info

Participants receive a Certificate Supplement indicating the amount of hours spent on lectures, practical application, site visits and group works (with further detailed content of the course) and a recommendation to grant an amount of ECTS that equals the amount of study hours (e.g. 50 hours).
