The objective of this course is to provide an introduction and overview of concepts and analytical
techniques related to corporate finance, analysis of the finance functions, investments and financial
decisions.

Course aim

At the end of this course  the learner is expected to;
Describe the environment of business in order to understand the role of corporate finance.  
Interpret the financial performance of a company through ratio analysis.  
Construct pro forma financial statements and cash budgets, pointing out the usage of different financial planning
methods.  
Identify short‐term financial management and net working capital in order to understand the related tradeoff
between profitability and risk.  
Discuss the rights and features of common stock and bond in order to differentiate between debt and equity
capital.  
Apply time value techniques to different patterns of cash flows, pointing out concepts of time value of money.  
Apply the basic valuation models in order to find the value of stocks and bonds .

Fee info

EUR 600: The program fee includes the following:

Registration
The tuition for the two week program. Within the two week period, students can attend only one course
Use of all venue facilities (e.g. computer lab, TV room, etc.)
Handouts, scripts and other relevant teaching material
Accommodation and half board for the two weeks. Students are accommodated in double rooms. The breakfasts, lunch and only two dinners are included.
