The main goal of Design and Manufacturing of Orthopaedic and Assistive Devices is to provide you with state of the art knowledge and ways of thinking in the orthopedic and assistive device design field. With your obtained knowledge and skills you are able to help people in need for an assistive device to make people mobile again. Subjects that will be covered are: Design Techniques, Orthopedic devices (Ortheses, Prostheses and Orthopedic shoes), State of the art technology, manufacturing skills, modern ways of manufacturing, evaluation techniques.

Fee info

EUR 725: The Fontys Summer School offers you two full weeks of daily classes and workshops (60 contact hours, 25 hours preparation, selfstudy and (final) assignments). The fee includes lunch, coffee/tea during classdays and studymaterials.
