The Developing Nurse Led Services Summer School will give you an opportunity to gain an overview of the key role that the Nurse plays in the care provided by the National Health Service in the UK. The Summer School will include visits to clinical facilities and an overview of the school research programme, which underpins care. Advanced practice will be discussed and related to the care provided by autonomous, critically thinking, problem solving nurses. You will be able to discuss your own areas of research interest with our professors and take part in sessions which will help you develop your research and clinical skills.

This experiential learning based course will include guidance on healthcare provision in the UK, along with clinical visits in Glasgow and the surrounding area.

Participants can choose from a 2-week version with no credit (£1,200 GBP), or a 3-week version (£1,800 GBP) which includes a final assessment week allowing you to earn 5 ECTS credits.

Fee info

GBP 1800: 3-week version - includes:
Accommodation on campus (private room)
Airport pick-up and drop-off
Social activities - day trips, walking tours and even a 'Ceilidh' (traditional Scottish live music event)

For 2-week version, fee is reduced to £1,200 GBP and includes the above.
