3rd Robotic Craftsmanship International Academy // Internship and Summer Course on Robotics
2-3 days per week
Ingeniarius, University of Coimbra and Robotic Clube of UC provide internship mobility and a unique summer course in robotics to students, with or without Erasmus+ Internship mobility. The students attending this 2-months program will have the opportunity to work on robotics, focusing on several state-of-the-art approaches and technologies. The summer course, entitled as the 3rd Robotics Craftsmanship International Academy (RobotCraft 2018 - 2nd July 2018 to 2nd September 2018), will provide a general overview of the science and art behind robotics, teaching the basis around the Arduino programming and the ROS framework. Students will learn how to design, build and program their robots throughout multiple crafts, carefully prepared to provide a wide range of skills and knowledge on the topic.
What is Erasmus + Placement Mobility?
With Erasmus + Internship Mobility, the students who are enrolled in any higher education institution may benefit from an internship in a company operating in European Union member countries. University students, in any level of formal education programs, must be registered as full-time students. The participation in this activity within the context of higher education is referenced in the Erasmus + coordination department.
Objectives of Erasmus+ Internship:
Opportunities to improve your foreign language
Working experience in business and abroad
Preparation for after graduation life
Self-confidence and institutionalization
Self-recognize the limits of their abilities and improve the professional knowledge and skill level
Strengthening of intercultural dialogue
General information about our internship and Summer Course

Description: Are you interested in Robotics? Are you an engineering student eager to improve your technical skills? Then you should come with or without Erasmus+ Programme to this Internship and Summer Course Programme. We did the first version of our programme with successfully way. We had a lot of opportunities to give others. Currently, we are working on several robotic prototypes and systems, and we invite you to join the team! Details will be shared after you contact us.
Before your application please read all.
Students from the following Departments can make an internship at Ingeniarius, Ltd. We accept Bachelor, Master and PhD students.
Computer Engineering and Science
Electromechanical Engineering and such departments.
Don’t forget! Total participation for the course is limited.
Dear future roboticists, The call for applications for the 3rd Robotics Craftsmanship International Academy (RobotCraft 208) is now officially open! RobotCraft is something in-between a summer camp and a collective internship promoted by Ingeniarius, a company devoted to the development of robotic solutions and other hi-tech devices, and the University of Coimbra, through their Robotics Club and the Institute of Systems and Robotics. Back in 2016, RobotCraft received 65 students coming from 18 different countries. These numbers were only beaten by the second edition of the programme, RobotCraft 2017, which exceeded all expectations with 84 promising future roboticists coming from 21 different countries. RobotCraft has received students from all over the world and fields, coming from Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Sciences, Physics, Business, and others, with the common objective of developing mobile robots from scratch. RobotCraft is way more than the typical classroom learning or even laboratory work - it is a way of living for 2 months, bounded by the common interest of learning robotics. Students will not only explore the multiple crafts around robotics, such as CAD, mechatronics, Arduino programming, ROS and AI, but also balance these technical skills promoted by mentors with keynote presentations from invited speakers. If you have any doubt about the programme, contact us or your own national contact point (NCP): http://robotcraft.ingeniarius.pt/hub See you next summer in Portugal!
