R is a popular statistical software program, which is very widely
employed in social science. The course will teach you how to use R to
perform several basic data processing and statistical procedures, which
are typical in political and social science research. Specific topics that
will be covered include (a) the basics of R programming language, (b)
how to use R for data management and preprocessing, (c) how to use
R for conducting simple statistical tests, and (d) introduction to data
visualization in R.
