Be part of the unique 3-weeks summer program in the two vibrant cities Berlin and Munich. Acquire the theoretical and practical basics of entrepreneurship and startup management in the digital economy of Germany.

The program offers a variety of economic, political and cultural courses and activities: specially organized company and industry visits, discussions with decision makers and experts, practical project works with academic background, German classes and cultural activities in Berlin and Munich.

Our summer program enables insights in the real German startup scene, we will visit startup incubators and coworking spaces and talk to the young entrepreneurs and their innovative ideas. But we will also get in touch with some global players who benefit from young and creative minds while startups get the chance to grow thanks to a variety of accelerator programmes.

Course leader

Experienced digital management professors from Hochschule Fresenius and international partner universities

Target group

Our summer school is open to undergraduate and graduate students with English proficiency (no German skills required) who are interested in German start up and working culture (minimum age of 18 years).

Course aim

Within the Summer School program, students will find out how the essentials of entrepreneurial mindsets and entrepreneurial behavior work as preconditions for sustainably successful action in the startup environment as well as in existing organizations. They will possess the necessary competence to develop viable business models, write and evaluate your own business plans in the frame of digital economy and experience the current startup scene of Germany.

5 EC
The course provides 5 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) after successful participation and examination (presentation, assignment) of the program.

Fee info

EUR 1950: The fees include tuition and application fees, study visits, health, accident and liability insurance, public transport in central Berlin and Munich and most parts of the culture and leisure time program.
