A world class program on crafting powerful audio stories. Transom, a beloved resource for radio and podcast makers around the world, and The Berlin School of Podcasting are teaming up to present this unique residential program taught by top industry professionals and storytellers in Berlin.

Over the course of the week, participants will learn every stage of audio documentary production — from story development and reporting to editing and mixing.

This residential program will be held at Publix https://www.publix.de/en/ a vibrant new institution dedicated to supporting journalism and press freedom in Europe and around the world. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore Berlin and connect with some of the incredible international journalists in residence at Publix.

Special guest Sarah Koenig of Serial will join to provide for a masterclass on narrative journalism.

High quality field-recording equipment and extended trial licenses for Hindenburg editing software provided to all participants.
