University of Sussex Summer School

The University of Sussex was founded in 1961 and is located in the South Downs National Park on the edge of the seaside city of Brighton.

For over 60 years, the aim of our courses, research, culture, and campus has been to stimulate, excite, and challenge. From scientific discovery to global policy, from student welfare to career development, Sussex innovates and takes a lead.

The Summer School has welcomed students from around the world for more than two decades since its launch in 2002 and offers students the opportunity to experience life at Sussex for durations of three, four, six, or eight weeks.

Students are taught by Sussex faculty and will live in campus accommodation, immersing themselves in campus life over the summer. Alongside their studies, students can enjoy a wide range of social events, Friday trips to local landmarks and a weekend visit to London supported by our own Sussex students.
